The Italian horn is believed to protect the wearer from the evil eye, or malocchio in Italian. The evil eye is a superstition that dates back nearly 5,000 years and is associated with a harsh scowl that is thought to cause injury or misfortune. The owners of FIA VI grew up wearing this necklace and wanted to incorporate it into wearing it fashionably while still wearing it for its meaning.
